Guest Post: Jen’s Crafty Autumn Project

Jen Ellermeyer, who is known in these parts as a genius in the kitchen, also has some crafty projects up her sleeve.
We started with corn husks soaked in water so they are pliable, then folded the top half over to make the head. We used a rubber band to make the neck, and then began to decorate using push pins and beads, ribbon, feathers and pieces of material. This is a great project for any age, but I helped my three year old because of the push pins. Then Lil C played with the dolls all evening, while we enjoyed yet another wonderful kitchen creation.
